Established in 1997 to help support the intellectual, social and
cultural development of at-risk and underserved children through
the United States. The foundation distributes funds to
inner-city child care, early childhood education, literacy and
other essential direct-service programs supporting children and
their families. Since its inception, the foundation has raised
$55 million and awarded grants to more than 1,000 nonprofit
organizations.
