Reality Cares Foundation
was established in association with Reality Show Stars who care
about helping others and making a real
difference in the lives of people affected by life-threatening
diseases such as Alzheimer's, breast cancer,
diabetes and HIV/AIDS. We hope to inspire a new spirit of philanthropy among a younger group of
television stars and viewers through a combination of education, outreach, fundraising and special
events.
The
Sharper Kids Foundation
was established by Green Bay Packers' Safety Darren Sharper
and
Houston Texas' Linebacker Jamie Sharper to help improve the
quality of life for disadvantaged
children. The Foundation awards grants to
501(c)(3) charitable organizations and creates programs that enhance children's lives and provide for
continuing education.
The Val Whiting Foundation,
established by professional basketball star Val Whiting, seeks
to foster programs to enhance the well-being and
development of young girls from minority communities. The primary focus for the
Foundation's programs will be in the cities of
Wilmington, Delaware
and Seattle, Washington. Long-range plans for the Foundation
include the construction of
a "world-class" youth facility for girls in
Wilmington.
