REMARKABLE WOMEN often RUIN MEN
Women like my friend's boss and Mrs. Klarc often ruin men. They
don't mean to do it and there is no malicious intent; but they
do it all the same and it can hurt to the bone. It does not
matter that ironically some good can come out of it, it still
hurts long and it hurts hard.
Most men by nature are undomesticated or wish they could be. Any
woman who does not believe it... should just get one of their
male friends to perform a clandestine survey and you will find
that most men would rather not be hobbled by the domesticating
skills of a woman. Many men are able to prevent domestication.
However, women like Mrs. Klarc and other remarkable women are
able to influence men to do what they may once have never
dreamed possible.
For such a woman, a once feral man may find himself wondering if
he should wear the shirt with eight small holes instead of his
other favorite shirt with the four gaping holes. I find myself
accepting the fact that perhaps shaving might be best every day,
instead of every third. Out goes the pants with the hole in the
crotch, you'll never convince such a woman that the hole was
intentionally designed as a ventilation portal to give the
nether regions of your body maximum breathing room.
A ruined man finds himself redecorating his room, just incase in
the off chance he will entertain the woman of his affections. He
eyes the end table that was once a power-line spool and
visualizes a potted plant atop it - perhaps a fern with a fan
strategically placed behind and hidden so that the fern wavers just so
to effect a certain ambience.
Some men do the unthinkable and start thinking of adding
shammies (which is what we men like say instead of 'Shams') to their tattered and battered futons.`

Many of the Stories I write have often been altered to protect the
innocent and guilty and to insure the privacy of both the
remarkable and not so remarkable people that have inspired me to
write about the many life lessons I have learned from them.
The names of people, places or business and even sequences in
time have been changed - If I mention them at all - for their
protection and privacy and any resemblance to any person, place
or thing is likely just coincidental. I write to merely share
what I have experienced, what I think and feel of such
experiences and events of which we share in common that most of
us face in our lives.

So instead, I hang out with my
female friends and fill my time with my projects or hiking and
camping alone on my off days; sometimes one of them will come
along.
It is odd, in my youth, I was
quite promiscuous - but in the past ten years I have found that
too many women are glad to have sex, but with strings attached.
This proves to be problematic.
I simply do not want to have
sex with women that I am not fond of or trust.
I am fond of and I do trust my
female friends .... most of them however, cannot just have sex
without feeling the pressure of being in a relationship; and
this pressure is put on me. Some of them... if I let them would
try to monopolize my time - hard for a man like me who enjoys
privacy and alone time.
Most of my female friends - as
much as I care for them - I know that none of them would be a
good match for me - or vice versa.
My requirements for a
monogamous long term relationship is too exacting. Most women
and men do not possess the qualities or do not wish to exhibit
the qualities that I know are necessary for a rewarding lifelong
relationship.
I have searched a lifetime and
I have been with many women and the void is still there.
Because of this; because of
the expectations or interest of some woman... I resort to lying,
mainly by omission or misdirection.
The bald-faced lies are
recent.
